Quinn Farm’s rare animals

On May 26th, the rare animals of Quinn Farm will be brought to Pointe-du-Moulin Historial Park. It is the only day in the whole summer that you can enjoy a quiet time near the old windmill observing those special species in this beautiful scene.

The animals will here from 10:00 am to 3:00 pm.

As the Pointe-du-Moulin Historical Park loves to follow ancient traditions, guided tours of both historical buildings will be provided every 30 minutes!

At 1:30 pm, gather up around the archery field for exclusive lessons with real bows and arrows!

Finally, at 2:30 pm the Interpretation Center will be open to the public for an hour in which you can learn all about our first settlers!

Regular fees applies to enter the Park.

Le Moulin à paroles – Open Mic

Storytelling, songwritting, poetry, slam, rap, speech, all forms of art using words are welcome to the scene of this first Open Mic event here at the Historical Park ! You can express yourself in the language of your choice. It’s Wednesday august 8th, directly next to the old windmill, from 7 pm to 9 :30 pm. And it’s free ! The Barrel Box Store will also be here to sell beer and cheese. The store is located on boulevard Don-Quichotte in Île-Perrot. This first open mic event will act as a safe space for artists that were in the search of the perfect, ideal scene to express themselves in complete freedom.

Pêche en herbe Programm – FULL

As part of this year’s Fishing Festival, children from 7 to 17 years old will have the opportunity to subscribe to the Pêche en herbe Programm sponsored by Canadien Tire. The Programm offers a 1 hour course to go through the theory behind fishing. Children will also be given a free fishing rod and a fishing permit valid until they’re 18 years old. Like each year, it will be the only day that fishing will be permitted in the historical area (between the old miller’s house and the windmill up to the water).
