Trade Exhibit : Wooden Clog

To sing Felix Leclerc’s song, Moi, mes souliers ont beaucoup voyagé… Shoes have come a long way since the arrival of the First Settlers. Like us, they needed to protect their feet and toes from heavy objects while they were working. Of course, they didn’t have steel-toed boots like we do but they had something quite similar : wooden clogs. On septembre 9th, learn how important they were for the security of our ancestor, and of course, learn how to make them. To wear them is completely up to you! The exhibit starts at 11:00 am and ends at 3:00 pm. Regular fees applies to enter the Park.
